The Ushiku Daibutsu in Ushiku, Ibaraki Prefecture, is the largest Buddha statue in Japan. Completed in 1993, this massive bronze statue stands 120 meters (390 ft) tall, including its 10-meter base and 10-meter lotus platform, with the statue itself reaching 100 meters (330 ft).
