DR5000 Drivers and Config Application V1.1.1 (2016-mar-02)
FirmWare 1.1.1.:
-General:
-- DR5000 will go into FW update mode when both STOP and GO buttons are pressed while power to DR5000 is applied
- RailCom:
-- Added configuration of RailCom cut-out polarity: Negative -> against Ground, Positive -> against V+ (19V) Needed to comply with certain boosters.
-- Added Auto Cut-out polarity: When operating with a reverse-loop booster (like DR5033) DR5000 will switch it's Cut-out polarity automaticcally when detecting a different booster polarity.
-- Enabled POM-read commands, so that decoder responses to the POM read can be read by external RailCom detectors
-XpressNet:
-- Report correct speedsteps to MultiMaus- and LH controllers is loco is selected for the first time.
-- Fixed translation of 14 and 28 speedstep speeds to match 128 speedstep speeds; ( 14-18 Step 1 was step 22 at 128 Step, now 14-28 Step 1 is now Step 1 at 128 Step.
-- Fixed 'Report feedback' command to report Feedback and not Turnout status. Status requests for module >= "Feedback base module" are reported as Feedback, below that Turnouts are reported (as of Lenz spec's)
-- Enabled 'Report contacts at power-on' for FB-Bus modules
-- Implemented Special option for WDP to broadcast Loco Speed- and Fucntion info when Loco is controlled by external device. (USB and LAN connections only)
-LocoNet
-- Implemented "Dispatch" functionality
-- Implemented "Program Track" functionality
-- Implemented "Fast Clock" functionality
-- Implemented Turnout 1016 - 1019 commands for interrogating Feedback Contacts
-- Implemented Uhlenbrock(r) special commands for interrogating Feedback Contacts
-- Implemented LNCV programming
-- Added special option for using (somewhat slower) FRED devices, adjusts the timing of certain replies
-- Added special option to tune the Baudrate of the LocoNet. Some small LocoNet devices with 'bit-bang' transmitters and receivers sometimes are off-spec (16.66KBaud) and need slightly higer or lower Baudrate.
-- Added special option for Comparator levels. In case of large, heavilly loaded LocoNets, Signal edges may deteriote an become slower, causing incorrect startbit recognition.
-- Relaxed startbit sampling to prevent false 'negatives' due to slow edges on large LocoNets.
-- Fixed problem with OPC_IDLE causing the DR5000 to hang (Traincontroller, WDP and iTrain) when putting the layout in 'Freeze' ('Einfrieren') mode.
Config App 1.1.1.
- LAN/WiFi
-- Implemented DR5000 discovery, so the Config App will show all DR5000's on the network connected to the controlling PC. IP's are shown in combobox for easy selection.
- ext88N
-- Feedback monitor now shows colorized overlaps in DR5000 feedback space
- LocoNet-T
-- Added LNCV programming page
-- Added Feedback monitor which shows colorized overlaps in DR5000 feedback space
-- Added Settings page with:
+ Purge time --> Time in minutes when to purge IDLE slots (not effective yet in FW 1.1.1.)
+ FastClock rate --> Set the rate at which the clock ticks compared to realtime.
+ Enable special FRED timing --> Enable special timing for (Uhlenbrock(r) FREDs.
+ Baudrate tuning --> Adjust LocoNet baudrate from -1000 to + 1000 Baud
+ Compator tuning --> Adjust '0' bit recognition voltage level
- LocoNet-B
-- See LocoNet-T
-- Added LNCV capable Booster monitor (DR5033 only for now)
- Track Output
-- Added RailCom cut-out polarity (see firmware description)
-- Added Auto cut-out polarity (see firmware description)
- XN+FB Bus
-- Added special option "Enable Loco Info broadcast" for WDP ( or other control programs which can handle this. It eliminates the need for the notorious Lenz protocol specific polling for Loco Info.
-- Feedback monitor now shows colorized overlaps in DR5000 feedback space
-Prog Track
-- CV Read button now enabled for POM when in 'Track-out' RailCom cut-out is enabled.
-USB 2.0
-- Implemented automatic insertion and removal of the DR5000 USB cable. (feature is still under development, may crash sometimes upon removal)
